Kelvin Long is Dine' from the community of Kaibeto on the Western Navajo Nation. He however grew up and lives in the border town of Flagstaff, AZ.

Long. is the Executive Director of ECHOES (Educating Communities while Healing and Offering Environmental Support)), a grass roots organization dediicated to enacting social and environmental justice and a board member of the Black Mesa Water Coalition.

Long, is a long standing member of the Save The Peaks (San Francisco Peaks in Flagstaff, AZ) movement and has lead many events to assist in the March 12th, 2007 victory in the 12th circuit court of San Francisco, CA in the protection of sacred sites.

Long, is also a professional speaker who speaks at area and national schools on his knowledge of Sacred Sited Protection, Environmental Justice and Indigenous Knowledge.

Long, is also co-owner of True Image World Marketing; a marketing team aimed to change the face and presence of Indigenous people in the global market as a professional photographer.
